About Me
Hello, I am Mr. Rudy Hernandez Jr., and I am honored to join St. Thomas More as the Campus Minister and Catholic Identity Coordinator. I am married to my wife, Ruby, and we have two children, Jorge and Goretti. My family’s heritage is from the border of Eagle Pass, Texas, where Spanish was spoken at home, though I learned English at school. I bring nearly a decade of experience in youth ministry and approximately nine years in youth development, including two years with the Boys and Girls Club and seven years with the YMCA. I look forward to contributing to our community’s spiritual growth and guiding our youth closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hola, soy el Sr. Rudy Hernandez Jr., y me siento honrado de unirme a St. Thomas More como Ministro de Campus y Coordinador de Identidad Católica. Estoy casado con mi esposa, Ruby, y tenemos dos hijos, Jorge y Goretti. La herencia de mi familia proviene de la frontera de Eagle Pass, Texas, donde se hablaba español en casa, aunque aprendí inglés en la escuela. Aporto casi una década de experiencia en ministerio juvenil y aproximadamente nueve años en desarrollo juvenil, incluidos dos años con el Boys and Girls Club y siete años con la YMCA. Espero contribuir al crecimiento espiritual de nuestra comunidad y guiar a nuestros jóvenes más cerca de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
